Wicked Farm Christmas Mini Sessions

It’s the moment you have all been waiting for! Photos from my Wickerd farm christmas mini sessions! This was my first official mini sessions and I can’t even believe how well it turned out. I’m so thankful to my amazing clients who trusted me with a new set up and new location. We captured some wonderful moments and memories over the weekend. You won’t want to miss out next year! Hot Chocolate Booth
The Back Story: Browsing through Pinterest one day looking for inspiration for my holiday themed photo sessions, I came across a photo of a little hot chocolate stand. That’s when I had a vision! I showed the photo to my mom (the go-to craft lady) and told her my plan to make the best hot cocoa booth ever! She gave me a leftover wood pallet she had. My dad (master builder) and my husband (the stud-ly fire fighter) cut the boards up and nailed them together according to chicken scratch drawing/plans.
I originally made the booth about 1 1/2 feet taller, but realized it would be to tall for my families with littler kids. So my sweet husband had to help me cut off the bottom and re-nail it. I’m so glad we spent that extra hour because it really helped make that booth perfect. I then stained all the wood and hand painted the ‘Hot Chocolate’ sign. The fun part was shopping for all the props!
The Location: This year I was able to reserve a spot at Wickerd Farm in Menifee, Ca. The owner and his family were incredibly kind and very generous to allow us the use of their property. I chose this location because they have several acres of Christmas trees. The trees added the finishing touch to the holiday theme sessions. It just wouldn’t have been the same without them.
The Results: It was hard to go through all the sessions and only choose 2-3 photos to showcase. All the kiddos (and adults) were amazing! Plus they had to make a 85° October day look like Christmas! California problems!
