Backyard December Wedding
Rancho Cucamonga, CA
You could not have asked for a better day for this backyard wedding in December. Winter, of course, is always a tricky season to plan a wedding, but we were given amazing warm weather. Also the thunder clouds looming in the distance stayed away until nightfall. The ceremony and reception were held at a beautiful estate in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. The estate’s backyard was tucked up against the San Gabriel Mountains, which made for an incredible view. The bride’s mother and boyfriend (now married, view their wedding here) generously offered to open their home for the day and an amazing neighbor let us use her backyard for additional portraits.
Jason and Cherise both enjoy a love of county music and brought some of those country elements into the theme of their day. From cowboy boots, to flasks, to mason jars no country wedding would be complete without them. And of course country music was played well into the night. The couple incorporated a humorous cake topper on their cake on account Jason is also a fire fighter. The bride and groom are probably my sweetest couple ever. Jason and Cherise were so genuinley appreciative to me and my second shooter for photographing their day, and were such wonderful hosts to all their guests. An enjoyable time was had by all.
